Triya is an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science, with a minor in Economic Analytics. She has gained hands-on experience in web and software development through internships and projects, encompassing full-stack development and database management. She is also the founder of a non-profit organization called Dhrishti Foundation, where she leads social impact initiatives. In the GLUE lab, she is involved in research on cattle ranching patterns in the Brazilian Amazon. Her work involves leveraging deep learning-based object detection models to analyze Sentinel data, aiming to map cattle and confinements. Additionally, she is contributing to the mapping of structures, such as gold mines in the Amazon, to develop training datasets for deep learning models. In her free time, Triya enjoys dancing, cooking, and exploring new places in the city.
