Join the GLUE Team

Starting late 2026 and throughout 2027, the Global Land Use and Environment (GLUE) Lab will be expanding our team and recruiting research scientists, analysts, software and data engineers, and postdoctoral scholars. We will also be accepting graduate students to start in the Fall 2027 semester.

We are especially interested in candidates focused on deforestation and commodity agriculture in Brazil, as well as sustainable agriculture, private land conservation, and biodiversity restoration through nature-positive landscaping in the United States. We welcome applicants with expertise in AI, geospatial technologies, GIS, remote sensing, supply chain analytics, data science, economics, and econometrics.

Our team develops cutting-edge data, tools, and scientific insights to improve the sustainability of food systems and land management. Current projects focus on supporting supply chain traceability and land systems solutions in Brazil's soy and cattle sectors, advancing private property conservation across working agricultural landscapes in the United States and Brazil, and mapping and rewilding turfgrass lawns at scale.

As the lab continues to grow, we will also recruit a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help lead our expanding organization, strengthen partnerships, and support the translation of research into practical solutions and measurable impact.

We are looking for creative, mission-driven individuals who enjoy working across disciplines and applying innovative methods to solve complex environmental and societal challenges. Our team values intellectual curiosity, collaboration, scientific rigor, and a commitment to producing research and tools that can influence conservation practice, corporate sustainability, and public policy.
