Lia Fitzpatrick was a Data Science and Environmental Studies student, with an interest in GIS in UW-Madison. In the GLUE lab, she was involved in research on cattle ranching in the Brazilian Amazon. She worked on mapping cattle and their confinements and using classification image models to connect cattle ranching to environmental and social impacts in the Brazilian Amazon. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, rock climbing, and playing pickleball.
