Yutai is an undergraduate student majoring in Data Science and Economics, with a passion for applying data science skills to real-world problems. Beyond his academic pursuits, he is a cook focusing on asian-fusion cuisines, and hiking lover. His previous experience locates in blockchain technology for cross-border transactions and stable coins. At the GLUE Lab, Yutai participates in research applying geospatial information tools to environmental studies, particularly examining the impact of cattle ranching on tropical deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon, involving managing and processing high-resolution satellite images, preparing datasets for convolutional neural networks, and analyzing results to contribute to land system sciences.
