Erich Raphael Masson is a Federal Prosecutor in Brazil. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Cuiabá in 2001, specializing in computer networks and IT. He worked for 8 years as an Information Technology Specialist for the Special Task Force against Organized Crime. He then graduated in law from the University of Iguaçu in Rio de Janeiro in 2011, and began his legal career as a State Auditor in the Comptroller General’s Office of the State of Mato Grosso, before becoming a Federal Prosecutor in 2016. He is a member of the Amazon Working Group and the Ecological Corridors Working Group. He also serves as the Coordinator of the Intelligence Center in the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of Mato Grosso and as the substitute for the Chief Prosecutor in that office. He recently joined the GLUE Lab as a Master’s student in environment and resources at the Nelson Institute, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
